This unique collection of posters was meticulously crafted to adorn the walls of the branding team's workspace within Sid Lee's Montreal office.
The innovative approach to poster design was rooted in the space itself, utilizing the actual floor plan as its foundational grid. Quotes were thoughtfully chosen to mirror the core values and philosophical perspectives of the branding team. Within this architectural framework, shapes and typography naturally emerged, weaving meaning into the environment.
Each poster was designed to accentuate specific areas of the office, aligning with the profound sentiments expressed in the selected quote. For example, a quote emphasizing collaboration found its visual counterpart in the closely grouped desks, reinforcing the importance of teamwork. Conversely, a quote centered on craftsmanship directs attention to the chairs where designers spend their creative hours, underscoring their dedication to their art.
